Dear Sirs, 

I write in response to a recently received letter detailing the planned private dwelling to be erected by a neighbour and your "ask" whether I have any "objection" to their building proposal.

I ask why I have been forwarded what is this neighbours private business and thus his own affair.

I believe that what any person does on his property is between God and himself and that any other who assumes the power or responsibility, or wishes to interfere in any way and thus control his actions and decisions are acting in an erroneous and deluded way, for they defy God's Code of Conduct Command to: Only be loving compassionate merciful and forgiving and to live in peaceful co-existence.

At all times and in every circumstance we are all subject to God's One Law being: As you sow so shall you reap and any person who believes that text written in a book of rules declared "law" by a "legislative body" provides a "legal" mandate that annuls God's Law and its inevitable consequences is deluded.

The letter forwarded to me indicates that the Council staff believe they are " required to notify" neighbours of other neighbour's plans and that the neighbour planning to build requires "Council approval" of his intent to build and that they will be subjected to this "outside" approval or disapproval. 

I am aware of this "common" practice but these "Council approval" regulations are acts of control that defies logic and God, and need amending. They defy God's Code of Conduct Command and under God's one law will invoke a similar "return" of controls and restriction and loss of privacy upon all the instigators including the rate payers who are the employers of the council staff. Thus I cannot have any say reference the proposal to build as it is none of my business.

It is truly a sad state of affairs, because what Council should be is a "council of elders" who on request simply advise their local community members as to best building practices etc., whereas via regulation you have taken on the role of a controlling body whereby all need your approval to "blow their nose" as such.

Council staff via regulations always demand funds for all they seek to do and this is always annotated with enforced punitive measures upon any failing to comply. This further invokes a negative karmic return under God's one law upon all involved. As said a truly sad state of affairs for all.
