An open letter to: Maree Bricknell, Manager Corporate Services
and the Mayor, Councillors, Council staff and ratepayers.

C/- Northern Midlands Council
13 Smith St. Longford Tas 7301

20th of April, 2004

Dear Maree,

I write in response to your letter of the 15th of April 2004 acknowledging my letter of the 7th of April, and to your notification that “The outstanding amount of Rates against your land, will continue to accrue interest, and Council will continue to pursue collection of the outstanding debt.”

Your coercive and threatening acts against myself are noted and I importantly remind you that in God’s eyes any un-loving act ahead accrues a negative karmic return under God’s ONE immutable law which is: “What you do to others will be done to you on an ‘eye for an eye’ basis.”

I am and will remain peaceful and loving in my act towards yourself and Council and it is my concern for yourself, the Council staff and the rate payers of “The Northern Midlands” that motivates me to inform you of the reality of God and God’s one Law: “As you sow so shall you reap” and God’s ONE Command: “To only be loving, compassionate, merciful and forgiving and to remain peaceful at all times.”

If you believe that I have a debt that is owed to The Northern Midlands Council then please provide me with an itemized account so that I may ascertain what services the debt is for, otherwise, I believe that in God’s eyes I have no debt with your employers and I see your demand for monies with threat of “accruing interest” and “pursuing collection” as attempted extortion, and I will not be a party to nor submit to such un-loving acts that deny God’s ONE Command.

Yours sincerely,

Ken Atherton
