Thank you for the opportunity of reaching the community with my reasons for making freely given donations to aid our community over the last two years rather than submitting to the Councils rates and charges enforced levy. I also provide details of my Court defence being my stand: "God’s Law vs. man’s law."

Open letter to the electors of the Northern Midlands Council

Dear Community Friends, I write this letter in explanation for my actions in choosing to not submit to the ever-increasing rate demands of our local Council.

I live on a country block with my wife and two young children. We provide our own water and sewerage facilities. The year before last I received a “Notice of rates and charges” for more than $900.

This amount far exceeded my perceived value for the services to me, and according to normal business practice, I asked Council for an itemised account to be provided to ascertain the individual cost of services provided to my property. This was not received.

I then wrote to the council explaining why I had queried the Council rate levy, for in my opinion, this levy is an enforced take off a community member and that I could no longer comply to this nature of extortion.

I suggested that perhaps it was time for the Council to “cut the cloth to suit the coat” rather than demanding an annual and ever increasing levy off the ratepayers, (who are in fact their employer) for the amount demanded appeared to be out of proportion to the services provided, and took no consideration as to the ability of the ratepayer to pay the demands are ever considered.

For those readers who live within town boundaries and do receive water and sewerage services, you too may also wish to consider the annual costs imposed.

Councils expand annually and enter into many areas of service and capital expenditure without any thought/consideration as to whether the individuals levied either wish to, or can afford to, pay for this expansion.

I drew support and direction for my personal stand, against this enforced take off "us," primarily from "The Blueprint Document" for Councils on the Internet web page:

I wrote to the Council stating that I could not comply with their rate demand and offered to aid the general community by the free giving of a sum of money for that fiscal year.

The following year we were levied with an increased demand and I again made a similar donation to aid our general community. The Council whilst accepting my gift of financial support maintained the demand for payment of their perceived balance plus interest.

I have taken my "stand" as I believe that in God’s eyes, it is an un-loving act to make enforced demands off the community, and/or to freely submit to the demands of others as it further invokes the negative aspect of God’s ONE law; "As you do is done unto you," thus deepening the negative karmic debt of the parties so demanding.

In May of last year I received a letter from the Magistrates Court threatening seizure and liquidation of my assets via court action if I did not submit to the Councils pay-up demands. I received a similar letter in March of this year and I now face the Court this May.

Again I draw the reader’s attention to the web page and the understanding it provides, for I believe that in God’s eyes I am guilty of no offence by not submitting to the Councils monetary demands.

Most importantly, I inform the reader that the legal "seizure" letter to me from the Magistrates Court is signed "as" the claimants being the: Mayor, Councillors and Electors of the Northern Midlands Council. Do you really wish to be  "party" to extorting funds off me? For if so, then ahead under God’s One Law you are also "open" to the same.

I will attend the court hearing and endeavour to reach the other parties involved with my concern for their spiritual well-being due to their negative demanding acts that they perceive as "just."

It is insane that the employees of this community should be so acting against an employer demanding that their ways be funded with an "open" chequebook policy meaning, that we are "sold up" if we do not meet the demands of our servants.  

In my opinion our "servants" are out of control. We have become "slaves" to other’s decisions. Society across the planet is now treated with "disdain" as though they are the criminals if they do not give-in to the ever-increasing demands of others.

I thus write this letter to you the electors informing you of the un-loving punitive acts being performed on your behalf via the hand of our employees at the Northern Midlands Council, and of the negative karmic consequences for us all.

Whatever befalls myself at the court hearing I will peacefully accept in non-retaliation, but I do reach out to you the reader, informing you as to why I have taken my personal stand, for none of you hold "freehold" land, for it "appears" to be owned by a "System" that can take it away if we do not pay their annual demand.

I do believe that Council employees "find" themselves in a difficult position because they too are being imposed upon by "edicts" from State and federal bodies, so we all, including them, needs a little deep reflection.

My defence is that as a man of God I am by God only required to walk in peace each day. I do not have to comply to "demands" of any others. Be they mandated to 'control & rule' by man or not.
