An open Letter to;
all community members, especially to community elders and organisations such as local Councils.

Dear friends

Enclosed are two important documents describing the potential impact the escalating global financial crisis, climate change and rising food prices may have on our communities.

The documents also describe the serious implications the current economic and environmental changes will have on the levels of mental and emotional trauma occurring in our communities, levels which have already been documented as escalating.

These stunningly blunt documents describe the potential for a catastrophic situation arising from the lack of food and the break down of essential services, especially if the enforcement of man's "law and order" collapses.

They are forwarded to you at this time for your consideration and for dissemination and discussion. 

I believe there is now a need for each of us to start preparing not only individually but collectively for the potential times ahead while the needed infrastructure and resources are still available. This is especially so for community organizations such as local Councils.
